Ritual dragon love

I love Ritual Union by Little Dragon, it is one of my favourite songs from 2011. I haven't learnt how to add a Youtube video yet...but if you haven't heard this song yet-released in July, quickly get straight on Youtube!! Little Dragon are a Swedish electronic band, formed in Gothenburg in 1996. It consists of Swedish-Japanese singer Yukimi Nagano (vocals, percussion) and her close high school friends Erik Bodin (drums), Fredrik Källgren Wallin (bass) and Håkan Wirenstrand (keyboards)--just a little wiki info if needed :)

Amazing Amsterdam

I have just got back from this weird and wonderful city with the boy. Celebrating his 25th bday in Amsterdam was quite surreal as it's not really the most romantic city when ducking and diving between stag do's but as it's almost Xmas it did look very pretty over the canals at night. I would recommend this city to anyone-it's definitely a must see....just beware of what bars/shops you're ducking into.... ;)

As people are starting to wear underwear as outerwear they have created more sturdy outer garments and after my massive rummage in the work sample sale, I shall be sporting more lingerie looks. Beyonce's countdown

Beyonce has massively grown on me in the last few years and I literally think she can do no wrong, especially when it comes to music videos. I love Countdown as she goes through different era's and pays homage to Michael Jackson, Audrey Hepburn, the Beatles, Diana Ross and Flashdance. The main influences seem to be from 1960's pop art and the beatnik movement, including brightly coloured lids which I love! Also she has some serious moves despite being heavily preggers!

So as I started my job at Topshop head office this week, I am in major lust over EVERYTHING! I want every shoe they're buying, a whole new wardrobe and want to finally dip my hair which I've been hankering after all summer. I have sadly cut my long wavy hair to a v short bob so am having to something drastic....not sure which colour to go for though....
